Role: Y2 Class Teacher, Maternity Cover

Contract: Fixed Term Maternity Cover from 17/04/2023 to 29/04/2024 or the return of the postholder, whichever is the earliest

Salary: TMS1-TMS6

We require an enthusiastic and creative full time primary phase class teacher to join our fantastic school, covering a maternity leave in a Year 2 class.

Job Purpose

• To take responsibility for a class of mixed ability children, recognising children as individuals.

• To promote the aims of the school through effective teaching and learning.

• Lead and maintain an overview of teaching, standards and ongoing improvement in the above specified subject/s and/or aspects.

• Maintain an overview of teaching, standards and achievement.

• Contribute to the developing ethos of the school by participating in policy review and practice.
