Trust Site Facilities Manager required for our Hull schools

Grade 9 (Scp 29 - 33) – Starting Gross Annual Salary, Scp 29 £35,411

Permanent Position - 37 hours per week

To start in January 2023

St Cuthbert’s RC Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

The Trust is in an exciting period of growth (recently adding to our pre-existing 8 schools with a further 7 schools across East Riding and North Yorkshire), which means we now have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our expanding Trust site facilities team. We are looking for an experienced facilities manager to lead and support our Hull based schools site facilities teams.

The main purpose of the role is to assist the Senior Estate Manager (SEM) with the property asset portfolio of St Cuthbert’s RC Academy Trust to provide quality education site facilities and a learning environment that meets all health and safety requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the daily management of the site team workforce across the Hull arm of the Trust schools. The postholder will ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, risk assessments, risk management and other associated codes of practice, legislation and Trust policies and procedures.

The right candidate will be self-motivated and a good time manager and will have a high level of organisational skills. This person will have a degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related area such as building, engineering, facilities management, surveying, health and safety etc. Or significant and substantial years of experience in facilities management.

The right candidate will be able to effectively and efficiently plan and prioritise work with a high level of accuracy using available IT systems.

Please note although this is a central team post (based at St Mary’s College), there is a requirement for the successful candidate to be able to transport themselves across the Hull area to manage and support their teams in all of our Hull Schools.
