Trainer Assessor. Re-engagement. Part Time (11.5 hours per week). Permanent. City Skills Centre.
As a result of our continued success delivering training to unemployed adults, we are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic trainer/s to deliver a range of employability qualifications.
We would particularly be interested in receiving applications from candidates with skills and occupational competence in one or more of the following areas: security, health and safety, first aid, construction, front line customer service or business administration.
In addition to any of the above specialisms the successful candidate would be required to deliver employability / personal development qualifications. The successful candidate will also need a Level 2 in English and Maths and a Level 3 vocational qualification.
The trainer will need to have recent current experience of delivering accredited qualifications. This role will involve establishing and maintaining effective training, learning, and assessment activities to accurately record learning. You will be expected to develop session plans to meet individual learner needs and deliver innovative sessions that motivate some of the most disadvantaged adults.
You will need to have a flexible approach to working and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet assessment deadlines and timely completion of paperwork.
Candidates will be expected to attend ongoing training and development activities to maintain competence in teaching practice and the subject area such as CPD. Experience of carrying out internal quality assurance activities and providing information advice and guidance would also be an advantage but not essential.
