Technician: Art and Design (Afan College)

To provide technical support across the curriculum area of the school of Creative, Visual and Performing Arts.

Rate of Pay: Scale 2, Points 14 – 16, £19,100 - £19,595 per annum, pro rata.

  (equivalent to £16,064 - £16,480 per annum)

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (to include early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Contract: Full time, part year, 37.8 weeks per annum, fixed term until 3 July 2023.

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Afan College).

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a level 2 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in relevant discipline, level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and have relevant experience. Candidate must be IT literate to level 2. A First Aid certificate would be advantageous, although training may be provided. Knowledge of Health, Safety and Hygiene requirements is essential.

Interview Date: Friday 9 September 2022.
