This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspiring SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and talented Learning Support Team at Bristol Brunel Academy. You will assist in the educational, personal and social development of designated students under the direction and guidance of relevant colleagues (e.g. the Principal, SENCos, Year leaders and class teachers.)

Fixed Term Contract ending 31 August 2023, Part Time (15 Hours Per Week), Term Time Only plus Insets.

Bristol Brunel Academy is an oversubscribed, forward-thinking Academy based in Speedwell, Bristol, rated “Good” by Ofsted in 2013 and confirmed “Good” again in 2017. What we are looking for:

The role requires an ambitious, resilient personality with good communication skills, who will work effectively within the Learning Support Team and with teachers and parents/carers. It will involve working with mainstream students with SEMH needs, supporting in lessons and with interventions to groups or on an individual basis to improve attainment and progress.
