Teacher of Sociology and RVE

We are looking to appoint a motivated, organised and innovative Teacher of Sociology and RVE for September 2023 for a one year contract. The successful candidate will work very closely with the Area of Learning Lead for Humanities and the Heads of Social Sciences and RVE to support the delivery of Sociology and RVE within the AOLE. The successful candidate must be able to teach Sociology to at least GCSE level, and preferably to A Level. The successful candidate will need to be proactive in monitoring the progress of pupils in their classes and will need to ensure that pupils make appropriate academic progress across their teaching groups, and consistently across the Area of Learning.


Crucially, the candidate should be able to transmit an enthusiasm for teaching and learning, should instil confidence and should be willing and able to play a full part in the continued success of these high performing subjects within the school..
