The Deanery CE Academy is situated in the heart of the community of Wichelstowe with the most amazing facilities, inspirational staff and incredible students. As a growing school which opened in 2019, we are currently looking for a Teacher of PSHE (Values in Practice) to join us on from September 2023 on this incredible journey in this Church of England Academy, and encourage pupils to express their personal opinions and feelings, whilst encouraging them to listen to and respect the opinions and feelings of others.
This post is suited to those with some experience of teaching, however ECTs will be considered. You will therefore be an enthusiastic teacher with a real passion for learning and developing pupils wellbeing.
We are looking for a person with a bucketful of energy, who will be eager to develop their professional capabilities and work alongside established staff to provide high pitch and challenge in lessons. You will be part of an exciting group of pioneering educators in developing our academy, so you must be willing to work as part of a strong team.
The start date for this role is September 2023 although may be brought forward if the candidate is available beforehand to enable a full transition.
