It is an exciting time to join The Hinckley School, an 11-19 school serving Hinckley and the surrounding areas. The school has recently achieved the best results ever and with a new STEM build starting this year, a bespoke year 7 and 8 area and refurbished sixth form, the school is building brighter futures.
The continued development of English across the school is an important part of our success and we are looking for an inspiring candidate who can contribute to our already successful English department to make The Hinckley School a beacon for the subject across the Trust and the area, throughout all three key stages. Applications are welcome and encouraged from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
We believe that the role of all of our staff is essential to our success in developing high quality teaching and learning and a strong sense of belonging amongst our students. Our curriculums are aspirational and inspiring, with all students learning Latin in years 7 and 8, and first wave teaching ensuring challenge and accessibility for all. All staff work together to secure outstanding outcomes for all students from KS3-5, but also make sure that all children have a sense of belonging and are celebrated at The Hinckley School.
This is also an exciting time to join The Futures Trust. The Trust is passionate about building brighter futures for the young people who attend its schools, and is a rapidly growing and successful Multi Academy Trust driven by a set of compelling values:

- No Barriers – no excuses, only support to ensure young people, staff, leaders, governors and trustees maximise the academic achievement of learners whilst enabling them to develop and flourish as well-rounded individuals
With an aptitude for overcoming barriers to learning, the successful candidate will be a positive, professional role model for learners and colleagues and will work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to raise aspirations and attainment.
Staff at The Hinckley School are supported by experienced Teachers, Middle and Senior Leaders who commit generously of their time to train and develop colleagues. We pride ourselves on a culture of collaboration, support and success, and offer focused CPDL for all staff based on their future aspirations.
