Salary: Up to £32,246 (depending on experience and qualifications) + £4,000 market supplement

Are you a qualified electrician looking for a career move? Have you considered a career in training young people, apprentices and adults in electrical installation with a mix of classroom teaching and workshop practical hands on-skills? Full training and support is provided to help you make the move into teaching and training. The role will suit an applicant who holds a minimum level 3 in electrical installation with a 3 year minimum post qualification experience. You must have an occupational background in electrical installation, have a good level of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. You will have excellent communication skills and be self-motivated, enthusiastic, have good attention to detail and have the ability to adapt to new challenges.

Teacher training, including an Assessor (A1) award is not required but will be given alongside the post, to be taken within the first 2 years of the successful application.
