NORTHMEAD JUNIOR SCHOOL
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to become the leader of our COIN Centre from September 2023. We are looking to appoint an experienced Teacher to lead and manage our COIN Centre and to motivate our pupils to be the best that they can be.
Northmead’s COIN Centre offers specialised provision for 15 children with developmental language disorder (DLD) or high functioning autism within a mainstream junior school setting. The COIN Centre is an integral part of the school and the Centre children are full members of their mainstream classes.

Hours of work: this is a permanent part time position (2 full days + 3 mornings)
Salary range: MPS/UPS depending on experience + SEN allowance
We are looking for a teacher with:
- An interest and passion for working with children with SEND and developmental language disorders.
- An outstanding record as a classroom practitioner.
- A flexible and adaptive approach to teaching with the ability to adjust to the needs of individual pupils.
- Experience of working with pupils with EHCPs or SEND.
