Supported Employment Coordinator (Supported Learning)

We are currently seeking a Supported Employment Coordinator to work as part of the Suppported Learning team. You will be working alongside colleagues on the discrete provision for young people with learning disabilities to develop high quality, personalised work experience and employment opportunities.
You will be responsible for:
Working with students and their tutors to agree, secure, monitor and review appropriate work experience placements
Maintain and develop effective links with employers, Course Tutors, Employment Advisors, Job Coaches, parents/carers and other partners
Support learners on work experience placements, incl. travel training
Manage and further develop the college’s award-winning mini-job scheme
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication, organisational, record keeping and team working skills, and a positive approach to problem solving and developing innovative practice.
