Our recent growth in pupil numbers in the senior school means that we are looking to recruit an additional sports coach.
You will have relevant qualifications and experience of coaching to a high level in one or both of our core sports to pupils aged 11-18. We are looking for a person able to coach at least two of our main sports: rugby and football; cricket coaching would be a welcome additional skill but is not essential.
We offer a competitive salary (c.£30K depending on qualifications and experience) and all the benefits of working in a thriving independent school including generous contributory pension, life assurance and discounted school fees, free lunches, onsite parking and a cycle to work scheme.
Hours for this role are set out in the job description; Saturday mornings are essential for 30 weeks of the school year. Early applications are encouraged. We reserve the right to interview before the closing date as we are so close to the start of term
Interviews: Tuesday 16 August 2022
Claremont Fan Court School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the school is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
