Creating Great Futures.

Croydon College is seeking a highly motivated, student-focused sessional lecturer with good subject knowledge, ICT and administrative skills, to teach specialist units of the BTEC National Foundation Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment L3 course, as well as our new Industry Skills sessions, designed to broaden students knowledge around working in the Construction industry.

Applicants should have a first degree and preferably a postgraduate qualification in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline. A background in a related profession would be an advantage.

Candidates should ideally have completed, or be willing to work towards a relevant teaching qualification.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds and the programme offers access to a wide range of career options. The successful candidate will need to be able to teach in a combination of online and in person lecture settings and be enthusiastic, highly organised and flexible. Good interpersonal skills, a willingness to work collaboratively within a small team, and the ability to provide high quality student support are essential.

If you are as passionate about making a difference, we look forward to receiving your application and joining our great college group.

The College is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive learning community, where we value inclusivity and treat our staff and students as individuals. We offer a range of family friendly, inclusive employment policies, flexible working arrangements, and welcome applications from a diverse range of individuals.

For successful applicants, the post is subject to enhanced DBS check and other onboarding requirements in line with the Keeping Children Safe in Education Guidelines.
