Trust Safeguarding Lead 0.4FTE
Starting date: as soon as possible
This is a new and exciting role at Palladian Academy Trust. We are looking for an inspirational, solution-focused individual who will oversee and lead our safeguarding strategy.
Palladian Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role will help us to achieve this through robust and secure policy and procedure, ensuring there is a tangible safeguarding culture throughout the Trust leading to the best futures for all through excellent and equitable opportunities.
This role is for the equivalent of 0.4FTE , but there is scope for this time to be used flexibly over the week to meet the needs of the successful candidate and our schools.
It is anticipated that 0.2FTE will be used to develop and deliver the safeguarding strategy and 0.2FTE will be used to provide professional supervision to school colleagues in a mix of responsive and planned work.
The successful candidate will receive full supervision training if needed and be able to access their own supervision.
This is a unique opportunity to join a very special values-driven organisation based in Bath and Wiltshire.
Palladian Academy Trust is a mixed Trust of both church and community schools, established in 2016 with children at the heart of everything it does. It currently has 11 schools (1 secondary and 10 primaries) but with a clear growth strategy to support the aims of the White Paper. The Trust is a learning organisation, where the learning of all children and adults is valued and continually promoted.
