City of Newport Campus

Lecturer – Accounting (AAT)

Salary: £21,508 - £42,325 (Full Time)

18.5 hours per week

2 x 0.5 FTE Permanent Posts (Would consider a 1.0 FTE for the post)

A lecturer is required to deliver Accounting (AAT) at the City of Newport campus to include teaching Level 2 and Level 3 Accounting and the Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting qualification. Experience of teaching AAT at all levels would be preferable and all applications will be considered for the posts. 

Qualified to at least level 5 in accounting or a relevant specialist subject area would be preferable, for example, a Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) qualification - CIPFA, ICAEW, CIMA, ICAS, CAI or ACCA.

You will be required to undertake a range of teaching activities and to contribute effectively to team working.

Applicants should hold a teaching qualification or be prepared to obtain one within a specified time scale.
