Programme Leader English and Maths
37 Hours per Week / 52 Weeks per Year
Salary: £28,952 - £33,069 Actual (Dependent on experience)
We are looking for an English and Maths programme leader to join us at Newbury college. The successful candidate will lead the design, development and delivery of Maths and English for the Career Academy, 19+ Part Time and Apprenticeship Areas. You will work closely with the head of department to develop curriculum in consultation with key internal stakeholders, leading a small team in the delivery of their subjects.
The successful applicant will have;
• Qualifications and Training attainments.
• Degree Level Qualification an appropriate subject for the role.
• Experience of working in a Further Education college environment
• Certificate in Education/PGCE or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) through other valid qualification pathways or working towards
It would be desirable for the successful applicant to also have;
• Mentoring/coaching qualification
• Experience of developing course materials
