Are you a skilled organiser who has experience working with Senior Leaders and external stakeholders? Do you have a strong track record of enhancing the reputation of organisations through successful support and project management? Are you able to work using your own initiative whilst maintaining clear lines of communication with a number of departments?

If the answer is 'yes' to all of those questions, then we may have the perfect role for you.

Weston College is the education provider for 19 prisons across the South West and the South East, and our subsidiary company, Restart, provides the education at HMP Five Wells in Northamptonshire. We have a vacancy for a Prison Education Project Co-ordinator, who will report directly to our Deputy Principal - Prison Education HR and Reputation. The post-holder will be responsible for administrating and supporting the efficient and effective management of the College Group’s prison education contracts including the development, co-ordination and monitoring of a broad range of tasks, including reporting and monitoring activities, events and projects that support this service.

As this role involves supporting our Prison Education delivery, there may be occasional travel involved, therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle will be required.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain the appropriate prison clearance for this role, and will be expected to maintain this throughout their employment.

When you join the team at Weston College, you will be joining a multi-award winning organisation which is one of the fasted growing colleges in the UK.

As an employee of Weston College you will have access to a huge range of benefits and support, including but not limited to:

  • Wellbeing @ Weston hub, providing well-being support for all;
  • A staff welfare officer;
  • Confidential Employee Assistance Programme (available 24/7, 365 days a year);
  • Access to Mental Health First Aiders, and the opportunity to complete this training yourself;
  • A mentor to support you in your new role;
  • Training and development opportunities;
  • Regular staff conferences, with guest speakers;
  • Staff social events;
  • Great progression opportunities;
  • Generous pension schemes.
