Peripatetic Rowing Coach
Accountable to Head of Junior Rowing and Administration (who reports to Head Coach)
Permanent, Part Time
Start Date: September 2022
We are looking for Peripatetic Rowing Coach who will perform a supporting role in the successful and effective running and development of Sir William Perkins's School Boat Club. They will work under the Head of Junior Rowing and Administration. The post holder will be responsible for assisting the delivery of rowing sessions both within timetabled PE lessons and at after-school and weekend sessions and races. Rowing is the major sport at Sir William Perkins’s School and the post holder will be expected to have a demonstrable background in, and passion for, rowing.
We would love to hear from you if you have the ability to have:
- Experience of rowing within a performance school or senior programme.
- A real passion for rowing.
- A keen eye for details and high personal standards.
- An ability to create a stimulating and safe learning environment, which fosters engagement, energy and excellence.
- Previous experience of working with children or young adults.
And if you also have:
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
