PA to the Headteacher
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: NJC 2019 Scale 21 – 24 £28,900 - £31,099 (actual salary £26,016 - £27,996)
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (term time plus training days plus 2 weeks)
Flexible or part-time hours will be considered.
JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced, conscientious and highly organised Personal Assistant to play a key role in supporting the Headteacher. The successful candidate will ideally have experience gained through a similar role and will:
Be friendly, pro-active and supportive.
Have a positive, professional and productive outlook with a high level of initiative and competence.
Be highly organised and possess excellent communication, IT and administrative skills.
Be expected to act with discretion and confidentiality.
Have a ‘can do’ attitude, be flexible to meet the demands of the role and able to prioritise workloads to meet critical deadlines.
This is a challenging role requiring calm efficiency, an eye for detail and good humour. The successful candidate will have the ability to build strong and positive relationships with students, parents, governors and staff.
