Are you looking for a career where you can change lives? Are you an aspiring or qualified teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in Warehousing that you would like to share with others?

We are looking for a Lecturer in Warehousing to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work across both HMP Leyhill and HMP Bristol.

Although teaching experience or a teaching qualification would be a benefit, we would also welcome applications from those who have industry experience as we will support you to gain a teaching qualification whilst you are in post.

The successful candidate will need to have Warehousing experience and excellent communication skills to be able to share this experience through teaching.

Teaching in a prison is a unique opportunity and gives you an opportunity to positively enhance the lives of the learners at both HMP Leyhill and HMP Bristol. This role also allows you the opportunity to work across two different sites.

When you join the team at Weston College, you will be joining a multi-award winning organisation which is one of the fasted growing colleges in the UK.

As an employee of Weston College you will have access to a huge range of benefits and support, including but not limited to:

  • Wellbeing @ Weston hub, providing well-being support for all;
  • A staff welfare officer;
  • Confidential Employee Assistance Programme (available 24/7, 365 days a year);
  • Access to Mental Health First Aiders, and the opportunity to complete this training yourself;
  • Training and development opportunities;
  • Great progression opportunities;
  • Generous pension schemes.

Weston College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to obtain the appropriate prison clearance before starting the role.
