Lecturer in Travel & Tourism (0.52 FTE)
Salary: £27,462 - £31,788 pro rata according to weeks worked and hours per week.
Hugh Baird College is a large, dynamic Further Education College, in Merseyside, delivering 300 courses to more than 7000 students from entry level to full degrees. As a College striving to be outstanding in all that it does we have an opportunity within our Curriculum Quality & Recruitment Directorate, we are looking for an individual who is able to contribute to creating an environment that exceeds the expectations of our students, parents and employers.
You will be required to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment for all students/clients to support the mission, aims and strategic objectives of the College and teach on Travel & Tourism programmes from 14-16, to Level 3. This role is permanent part-time, term time only with 19.5 hours per week.
A degree in a relevant subject area combined with a teaching qualification and experience of teaching on Travel & Tourism programmes up to Level 3 is essential. You will also have had a period of successful employment or relevant background within the cabin crew setting.
