Lecturer in Sports & Public Services (0.752 FTE)

Hugh Baird College is a large, dynamic Further Education College, in Merseyside, delivering 300 courses to more than 7000 students from entry level to full degrees. As a College striving to be outstanding in all that it does we have an opportunity within our Health Creative Industries & Protective Services Directorate, for an individual who is able to contribute to creating an environment that exceeds the expectations of our students, parents and employers.

You will be required to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment for all students/clients to support the mission, aims and strategic objectives of the College and teach on Sports & Public Services programmes from 14-16, to Level 3. This role is a permanent part-time, term time only for 18.8 teaching hours per week.

 A degree in a relevant subject area combined with a teaching qualification and experience of teaching on Sports & Public Services programmes up to Level 3 is essential. You will also have had a period of successful employment in one of the Public/Emergency Services and also have substantial experience of coaching youth football, hold as a minimum a level 2 FA Football Coaching qualification and hold or be working towards, a UEFA B License.
