Lecturer in Graphic Design (0.84 FTE)

Salary: £27,462 - £31,788 pro rata according to weeks worked and hours per week.

We have an opportunity within the department of Faculty of Creative Industries for an individual who can contribute to creating an environment that exceeds the expectations of our students, parents and employers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our faculty of Creative Industries as a Lecturer in Graphic Design. We are seeking an individual who is interested in developing outstanding learners and lead the Graphic Design programmes by Liaising with partners to ensure compliance with academic/quality assurance processes.

To be successful in this role, you will deliver well-planned, level appropriate teaching, presenting the subject matter as part of an ambitious, coherently planned and sequenced plan of learning, the understanding of which is checked and addressed systematically so that you are confident that learners are building knowledge and acquiring skills to achieve curriculum outcomes that support progression to future learning and employment. You will also be required to develop assessments and mark students’ work in accordance with awarding body requirements and College policy, to check understanding providing clear, direct and constructive feedback which addresses misconceptions and enables students to embed and develop their knowledge and skill.

This is a part-time, permanent role with of 21 teaching hours per week.
