Do you have experience within the Construction sector?

Do you want to help transform lives in a brand new, custom made education environment?

Teaching in prisons is an incredibly rewarding challenge with the benefits of mainstream education.

Weston College Group has recently secured a long-term education contract at the recently opened HMP Five Wells located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

We are seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated Lecturer in Construction to join our growing team at HMP Five Wells.

The successful applicant will have experience in the construction sector, and either be a qualified teacher or willing to work towards their teaching qualification. They will be enthusiastic and able to motivate a wide range of learners towards successful careers in the construction industry. An ability to work in partnership with others and excellent interpersonal skills are also required.

As an employee of Restart (part of the Weston College Group) you will have access to a huge range of benefits and support, including but not limited to:

  • Wellbeing @ Weston hub, providing well-being support for all;
  • Confidential Employee Assistance Programme (available 24/7, 365 days a year);
  • Access to Mental Health First Aiders, and the opportunity to complete this training yourself;
  • Training and development opportunities;
  • Free on-site parking;
  • Great progression opportunities;
  • Generous pension schemes.

Although we are an education provider, you don’t necessarily need experience within education to apply for a role with us, if you have relevant and transferable skills, we would welcome your application.

Weston College Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS and obtain the appropriate prison clearance before starting the role.
