Lecturer: Agriculture (Bilingual)

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate.

To work closely with subject specialists to design and deliver schemes of work and assessment plans which embed vocational Welsh development and assessment of the Welsh language within mainstream provision.

 Salary: Associate Lecturer Scales 1 – 4, £21,506 - £25,380 per annum, pro rata. Main Grade Scales 1 – UP1, £27,382 - £39,357 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).

Hours of Work: Band A. Annualised hours 699.6 – 835 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Contract: Permanent, Flexible Fractional.

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Newtown College).

Qualifications: Candidates must have a level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline (degree or equivalent) and have relevant experience. You must have a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent). Candidates must also hold a teaching qualification and be IT literate equivalent to level 2. You must also have the ability to communicate in Welsh at a fluent level.
