Job Role:

As a Learner & Campus Services Assistant you will provide a service to staff and learners in regard to learner transport, travel expenses, free meals, nursery provision, learner ID badges. You will act as front of house and provide support services to the Campus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

To provide a friendly and polite first point of contact for all learners, staff and guests visiting the campus.

To administer, record and act upon information stored within the college CRM system.

Ensure appropriate advice and guidance is given to learners regarding learning grants, learner transport, travel expenses, free meals, nursery provision.

Administer and record information regarding learning grants (EMA, WGLG).

Act as a link to the grants officer if required.

Liaise with transport providers within the campus area.

Implement the wellbeing and enrichment programme.

Support the Learner and Campus Services Manager with the learner voice forum.

Involvement in campus events (such as parents’ evenings, open events, summer schools, guest speakers) by providing a front of house service in conjunction with other departments.

Carry out administration duties within the campus office.

Assist with financial duties under the direction of the Learner and Campus Services manager. • Monitor learner behaviour outside classroom settings.

Support and uphold college behaviour and disciplinary policies.

Support the Director of Learner and Campus Services and Learner and Campus Services Manager with publicity events including community, promotional fayres, stakeholder events, local media coverage and good news stories.

Support inductions and enrollments in collaboration with the admissions team.

Support commercial activities on the Campus.
