Nether Hall School is a very effective, well-resourced special school for pupils aged 4-19 years who have severe & profound learning difficulties.

The school is seeking to appoint Level 1 Teaching Assistants working 32½ hours per week for 39 weeks (school term time + 5 training days).

Salary: LG Band 3, Points 5 - 6, £21,575 - £21,968 pro-rata.

  •   Actual starting salary, point 5:
  •   Less than 5 yrs service with the Local Authority £16,277; (Plus SEN allowance of £1177)

The successful candidate will have good basic education including GCSE or equivalent in English as detailed in the job specification.

Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS check.

Online checks will also be carried out on shortlisted candidates in line with KCSIE recommendations.
