Teacher ICT - April or September 2023 start

The ICT & Computer Science department are currently expanding and looking to appoint an excellent ICT and Computer Science teacher.
Norton Hill is a flagship school and is part of the Midsomer Norton School Partnership (MNSP), a growing Multi Academy Trust which currently comprises 10 secondary schools. Within the Trust, Norton Hill has a reputation for innovation in teaching & learning. The Head of Department is a Specialist Leader in Education and an experienced lead practitioner across the MAT.
Norton Hill is a 'Google School' and the Google Classroom and Google Suite of apps are now the backbone of our exciting and engaging Schemes of Learning. We have 8 stunning ICT suites, a reliable RM Network, over 300 ChromeBooks, an ICT curriculum office and a large team of on-site friendly technicians.
We have invested heavily in our schemes of learning and have purchased the full suite of PG Online resources as well as Doddle Learn, EdPuzzle and SmartRevise. The department uses electronic assessments at KS3 (Edulastic) in order to reduce teacher workload and improve the quality of feedback.
ICT & Computer Science have become extremely popular over the past few years. We currently have over 200 students studying the OCR Creative iMedia course and over 100 students who study GCSE Computer Science. At KS5, we offer the BTEC Level 3 in IT and A Level Computer Science.
The ICT Department has a history of strong exam results at both KS4 and KS5 and always perform far higher than the national average.
