Salary Range 1-14: £24,679 to £41,612 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
Additional Responsibility Allowance D: £2,000 pa for Head of Digital Role

We are seeking to recruit an outstanding teacher of Digital to lead a well-established and successful Digital team at our College in the Cotswolds. The successful applicant will have a genuine commitment to Digital education with the ability to truly motivate and inspire learners, together with a commitment to raising academic standards and achievement. You will be a superb team player, with a proven track record of organisational skills and a demonstrable passion for promoting Digital skills in education. You will also have the ability to lead in driving forward course development to the very high standards we set.
The postholder will be expected to:
- Teach to a high standard, and develop the relevant skills to teach truly outstanding Digital TL provision (with the potential for teaching in other technology areas)
- Support other teachers within the team
- Support the students with the evaluation of their performance and coursework, recording their progress
The T levels are very broad and we would encourage applicants who have experience in any of the following areas:
- Cyber security principles and standards
- Network principles and architecture
- Networking and server management
- Experience of Microsoft active directory
- PC repair diagnostic
- Copper and fibre optic cabling installation, testing and tools
- Industry experience within the IT support sector would be useful
This post would be suitable for an experiences teacher, or someone looking to move into a career in teaching from prior work in the IT support industry.
The role of Head of Digital TL represents a genuine and outstanding opportunity for a capable and dedicated person to explore their true potential as an area manager in this exciting field of education in our top performing college. The successful applicant will lead with the development of the new T Levels in Software development, business support, cyber-security and data for business, and work closely with the team to continue to improve an outstanding area of provision.
