We are seeking to recruit a dynamic sessional Lecturer in Hairdressing &/or Barbering Lecturer to join our dedicated team. This post will provide efficient and effective teaching to level 1-3 Hairdressing and Barbering students. You will therefore have experience of working in the Hairdressing and Barbering industry as a Hairdresser or Barber, preferably from a commercial customer-focused salon background. It is essential you have a level 3 qualification or above in Hairdressing and Barbering and A1 Assessor awards and Verifier awards.

Having practical skills in salon activities, you will provide support to a range of Hairdresser and/or Barbering students undertaking vocational qualifications in salon practices. You will be required to instruct, plan, deliver and assess students undertaking practical tasks in an industry standard controlled salon environment which is open to college colleagues and members of public by appointment. This post is open to both qualified teachers and also industry skilled individuals who are looking to retrain in the rewarding career of teaching.

There are full-time progression opportunities once in post up to £41,754 p.a.
