Have you ever considered the unique challenge of working within Prison Education? Would you like to work in a brand new, purpose built facility? Restart, part of the Weston College Group, are the education providers at HMP Five Wells, a recently opened prison in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and we are seeking a Generalist Lecturer to join our team.

As a Generalist Lecturer, you will support with the delivery of a variety of courses, including English and Maths. We are particularly interested in applications from candidates who are able to deliver one or more of the following subjects: Art, Music, IT, Drama or Personal, Social Development (PSD).

You will deliver a high quality curriculum, ensuring that you mange learner behaviour and ensure differentiation of learning to meet individual learners’ needs including providing extra support for learners with LDD needs. You will work effectively with the other members of the education team at HMP Five Wells and will engage with internal and external partners to ensure a positive experience for all learners.

This position is part-time, for 15.25 hours per week, and the successful candidate will be working evenings and Saturday mornings.
