Facilities Officer and Site Supervisor

To assist the Facilities Manager in the day-to-day operations, building maintenance, property repair, refurbishment and monitoring of contracts to the College.

Rate of pay: Scale 5, Points 25 - 28, £24,242 - £26,303 per annum.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends).

Contract: Full time, permanent.

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (to be based at Newtown College or Brecon College).

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have level 3 qualification, eg NVQ level 3/Advanced Craft Certificate in relevant discipline and have relevant experience. Candidates must hold level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and also be IT literate to level 2. Experience of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building services maintenance and repair work is essential, along with an understanding of health and safety issues including statutory compliances. A clean valid driving licence is also essential.
