Exam invigilator

The Role

We are recruiting a number of exam invigilators to join our team, overseeing examinations at various points throughout the year. It is a really important role and we are looking for reliable, confident and meticulous people to join our team in order to support our students through one of the most stressful and important events in their lives. It is a part time role, but one that can make a real difference.

This role will allow you to work flexibly on a casual basis supporting St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School to ensure all exams are conducted in accordance with exam guidelines. There will no fixed or regular hours of work, but you will be given substantial notice of when you are required. However, the bulk of the work will be in May and June.

Morning exam sessions usually start at 8am (for an exam start of 9am) and afternoon sessions at 12.30pm (for an exam start at 1.30pm). The length of exam papers varies and sessions can last between 1-4 hours.

All successful applicants will receive full training. All invigilators must complete statutory online safeguarding training and an online invigilation training module which takes approximately 2 hours before their first invigilation.

We also need people who are willing to be trained as one to one readers and/or scribes for our access arrangement students.

Pay: £10.90 per hour plus holiday pay calculated at 12.07% of your pay.
