Guildford County is an outstanding school seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join a highly successful department to teach up to and including A Level, depending on qualifications and experience. Experience in Python and Java is an advantage as these are the main programming languages we teach for GCSE and A level. Your role will involve developing our Digital Literacy Strategy, which will guide us in our approach to education. Not only is this role about developing the school but one also to develop your career. So crucial is digital literacy that you will have links in to the leadership team and our governance boards, ultimately supporting the development of the right candidates towards obtaining Assistant Head roles or similar. The position could suit either an experienced teacher, a recently qualified teacher or an unqualified teacher with the appropriate experience. We welcome applications from ECTs and actively support new teachers with an established and extensive ECT programme that will take you through your first two years. We are as committed to your development as we will expect you to be to the progress of your students.
Our results for 2022 were:
GCSE: 84% Grade 5+, 46% Grade 7+:
A level: 70% A*-C, 30% A*-A
