Lecturer/Course Manager – Farm Mechanics

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.

We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Arboriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness and Uniformed Public Services.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Farm Mechanic Course Manager with a wealth of industry experience to join our Agriculture Team here at our York campus. Full and part time positions are available.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for the teaching and course management of our Farm Mech courses. Sector experience and knowledge specifically in land-based engineering will be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching including planning and delivery within the programme and overseeing student progress. Taking opportunities to enhance student experience and employability whilst at the college.

 Excellent industry knowledge and understanding, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
