Caretaker, Fixed Term Contract - Cardiff
We are looking for an experienced caretaker who has good general maintenance skills. Ensuring a safe working environment for staff and students.

People skills are as essential to this role as practical caretaking skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work independently using initiative and as part of a team. You will be able to communicate clearly with and relate positively to all members of staff. The college opening hours are 7:00 am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday and caretakers are required to work a combination of early (7:00 to 3:00), day (8:30 to 4:30) and late shifts (12:00 to 8:00). There will also be Sunday and late evening work.
You will require knowledge of Health & Safety at work and ability to recognise the importance of ensuring a secure and safe environment. A driving licence is essential for this role as is the ability to use Microsoft Office.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this position.

The position is a full time, fixed term contract until 31st August 2023, and attracts a salary range of £20,971.60 – £22,040.84 dependent on experience.

The College operates a Sixth Form College academic year and therefore the Autumn Term begins in late August to allow for enrolment activities.
