Business Analyst x 4
Hackney Campus, with some cross-campus travel required
Salary: £48,388-£53,512 depending on experience
We are now looking for 4 Business Analysts to work with us and for one of the posts we are looking for someone with expertise in business improvement in finance.
This is an exciting role for someone keen to make a real difference in how we work. Throughout the past few years, the college has gone through a period of significant change with mergers and the consequent integration of systems and processes. We are in the early stages of implementing lean thinking and continuous business improvement techniques across the college in order to improve the efficiency and quality of our processes to the benefit of our students.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record in introducing and implementing lean thinking and business analysis techniques in a service sector organisation, ideally in the education sector. They will be able to evidence the difference the use of these tools has made in the time, cost and quality of processes and outputs. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills who can champion a culture of continuous improvement across the college and secure buy-in from colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
The successful candidate will join a small Strategic Projects team, working with colleagues at all levels across the organisation. New City College’s vision is to “exist to give our students a better future”. The candidate will be expected to participate in whole college duties, such as enrolment, invigilation and duty management to help ensure the success of our students in line with our vision.
New City College offers an extensive benefits package, outlined on our website. The role is a management scale role, with 35 days of annual leave. Whilst the role is mostly campus-based, there is an opportunity to apply for a level of hybrid working following the successful completion of the probationary period.
