About the role:
West London college are looking for a Bursary Administration Assistant to join our Student Services team. If you are committed, driven and enthusiastic and would like to work with a diverse range of learners we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Student Funds and Welfare Coordinator to help support in the administration of all bursary funds and will work across the college Management Information System (MIS) and Pay my Student in order to gain and maintain knowledge on processes and procedures in enabling learners to be able to access funds. They will also contribute to continuous personal development within the department as they will implement and maintain processes and procedures within the bursary process to ensure an effective efficient service.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to take a proactive approach in assisting and supporting the Student Funds Coordinator, they will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team. They will need to have good communication, organisational skills and be an accomplished administrator who has a good eye for detail and accuracy with data entry, excellent IT skills, numeracy and literacy skills which are required within this role. They must also be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines within a fast-paced department and will be joining a friendly hardworking team who are committed to improving the learner’s journey to success.

Previous experience of working on Pay my Student or within an educational establishment is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
