St Vincent College & Richard Taunton College are part of The Lighthouse Learning Trust and we are continuing to expand our delivery and looking for Assessors and Tutors to join our team of bank/casual staff. We are looking for highly motivated, passionate, experienced and qualified Assessors and Tutors to deliver a range of qualifications/courses.

Assessors – Work Based Learning & Online Learning

Essential requirements for Assessors:

• D32/33 or A1/TAQA Level 3 Qualification (Assessor Qualification)

• Occupational expertise relevant to the units/qualification assessing

• Occupational competence relevant to the units/qualification assessing

• Occupational knowledge relevant to the units/qualification assessing

• Experience in training and assessment

• Good IT skills

• Effective and efficient diary management

• Evidence of maintaining own/subject area of occupational expertise, competence and knowledge in continuing learning and professional development (CPD Records)

For Work Based Learning Assessors, there is a requirement to travel to delivery areas/work placements, in surrounding areas of the Colleges. Therefore access to your own vehicle is essential. Travel expenses will be paid for travel between College and Work placements. Hours for qualifications/students, locations, travel expenses etc. will discussed at interview.

Assessor Hourly Rate of pay is: £17.28

Tutors – Community Learning

Essential requirements for Tutors:

• Be able to prepare, plan and deliver quality teaching and learning

• Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge of specialism/area tutoring

• Teaching qualification (minimum of Level 3 Award in Education and Training or be prepared to gain qualification)

• Good IT skills

• Evidence of maintaining own/subject area of occupational expertise, and updating continuing learning and professional development (CPD Records)

Tutors may be required to travel to delivery areas, in surrounding areas of the Colleges. Therefore access to your own vehicle is essential. Travel expenses will be paid for travel between College and Work placements. Hours and duration for classes, locations, travel expenses etc. will discussed at interview.

Tutor Hourly Rate of pay is: £26.08

Closing Date - 31st January 2023

Interview Date - 6th February 2023
