Yeovil College are seeking artists/designers to work with staff and students within the Creative, Design Industries Department for the academic year 22/23.
During the residency programme, the selected artists and designers will have the opportunity to develop their own creative practices using the department’s facilities along with opportunities to share skills through the delivery of workshops to staff and students.
The artist in residency would have to be present at least 2 mornings a week (this can be agreed on appointment) and deliver at least 3 hours of workshops a week in any specialist field. In return the artist in residency would be able to use our resources, space & equipment by booking in with the technicians weekly, and have a space/opportunity to exhibit work, at our end of year Creative Showcase at Sparkford Hall.
