Animal Centre Manager (Technical Instructor)

Required from: 1st October 2022 (option to start sooner)

Contract: Permanent, Full time (some weekend working)

Salary: £24,842 - £26,574 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

This is a great opportunity to lead the new and expanding Animal Science facility at Cirencester College as we further develop our successful provision. It would particularly suit someone moving from a large College who wants greater autonomy or someone from the animal sector who wants to move into education.

Our priority is a candidate with real enthusiasm, interest and wide experience in Animal Management who is both practical and imaginative and who is keen to pass this on to 16-19 and help develop our other technicians.

This is a full time post combining instructor duties with the management of the facility and collection. There is the opportunity to undertake a teaching qualification and take part in our wide range of staff development activities. You would also work closely with the rest of the land-based team within the Business Faculty.

Closing date for applications: Friday 2nd September 2022

Interviews will be held: w.c. 5th September 2022

PLEASE APPLY NOW – this position will close once sufficient applications are received.

We regret that due to the large number of applications we receive we are only able to contact those candidates to be interviewed.
