Academic Support Assistant

Newbury College are looking to recruit an Academic Support Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for providing in-class support to specific learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. You will support the learners a variety of curriculum areas, including Math’s and English.

The successful applicant will have;

  • Level 2 English and Math’s
  • Experience of working with young people or adults with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
  • A qualification in care or learning support.

It would be beneficial if you also have;

  • A First Aid qualification
  • Worked in Further Education
  • An understanding of Autism
