The department has over 200 full time learners offering a wide range of provision at levels 1 to 3. Provision includes BTEC courses, T Levels and employment focused study programmes.
We are seeking to appoint a fractional Progress Tutor to join the department and support our learners to achieve their full potential and progress to their next steps. A level 3 qualification and experience in an educational setting is essential.
The successful candidate will manage and coach a case load of learners in partnership with curriculum and other staff, to ensure that learners become independent learners who progress successfully. They will deliver inspiring tutorial support to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large cross-curricular team. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines.
