This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Administrator to join our regional People team.
Your opportunity
We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and flexible People/HR Administrator to work across two schools based in Lightwater, Surrey.
Led by the Regional People Partner, the People/HR Administrator will work in collaboration with the school based teams and as part of the regional team to deliver an expert service to our schools.
Responsibilities include:
- People administration duties across a range of People activities including data management and reporting, compliance, and general people administration
- Recruitment and on-boarding administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures, particularly regarding safer recruiting
- The completion of monthly payroll submissions, adhering to tight deadlines
- The maintenance of the Single Central Record, personnel files, and training records for your assigned schools
- Acting as a first point of contact for people related queries, ensuring high levels of confidentiality.
Our ideal applicant will have
- A good awareness and understanding of people administration, to ensure compliance with regulation and procedures
- Good numerical skills with the confidence to produce and manage payroll and other management information data
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, including the ability to form rapport and build good working relationships with others
- Flexible approach and the ability to work on their own initiative
- A willingness to travel across the four schools
About our Cluster
Led by an Executive Headteacher, the cluster consists of 1 infant school, 1 junior school and two primary schools: Lightwater Village School, Hammond Junior School, Windmill Primary School and Wheatfield Primary School.
This role will be based between Lightwater Village School and Hammond Junior School, however there may be the need on times to support the wider Cluster.

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
FTE Salary: GLF Specialist £23,800
Pro-rata Salary: £10,500 (based on 18 hours, 40 weeks)
Hours of work: 18 hours per week to be worked over 3 or 4 days, 40 weeks per year
Interview Date: Monday 12th December 2022
