Court Moor School is a high-achieving 11-16 comprehensive school in Fleet with a fantastic reputation and sky-high ambition. Having had a successful OFSTED in July we are now free of the pressure of inspection and can continue to follow our own agenda: to be one of the best schools in Britain. We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to lead our successful English department to greater heights.
Our over-subscribed school has the privilege of teaching students who are amongst the highest attaining at KS2 in Hampshire with a high APS on entry - our challenge is to maintain and accelerate their progress.
The English department is an enthusiastic and committed department who consistently deliver strong exam results and great learning. Alongside the traditional English curriculum they also deliver KS3 lessons in journalism, classics and creative writing as part of our innovative curriculum which aims to go beyond and develop students’ interest and cultural capital in unexpected ways.
