We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and committed technician to join our Creative Arts programme area. You will be required to act as Safety Technician across a range of programmes, whilst also supervising in and maintaining the arts centre. You should have previous technician experience in an education and/ or industry setting.

Extensive knowledge and experience of maintaining and operating music, sound and lighting equipment is required for this post. Some knowledge and experience of music software would be useful. Some knowledge and experience of maintaining and operating photographic equipment and a range of visual arts materials is required for this post. Knowledge and experience of mixing photographic chemicals, along with the associated hazards and risks, including COSHH regulations, would be useful.

You must be able to demonstrate the ability to be organised, flexible and resourceful, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
