We are looking to appoint an Attendance Intervention Officer to join our team based at our James Watt College (Aldridge Rd, Birmingham B44 8NE). Please note that this is a fixed-term, 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will work within a BMet Absence Response Team delivering an excellent customer experience to improve and sustain high levels of student attendance, through the utilisation of relevant software systems for tracking and monitoring attendance. They will inform parents/guardians of non-attendance and working with personal tutors and curriculum management to improve attendance levels. They will identify barriers to attendance and engage internal college support services where appropriate and contribute to the development of the service and the student journey.
