We are recruiting an enthusiastic team of Accommodation Support Officer’s to provide welfare, safety and practical support to students aged 16 and over in our 151 bed halls of residence and host family accommodation. The role will involve liaison with student residents, responsibility for security, safety, wellbeing and organisation of events.
This casual vacancy requires out of office hours working including weekends and bank holidays on a flexible rota basis as we are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Some of these shifts involve lone working. Working patterns available are:
Evenings: 18:15 – 00:45
Waking Nights 7 nights a week: 22:00 – 08:30
Saturdays: 07:30 – 14:30, 14:30 – 21:15,
Sunday: 07:30 – 14:30, 14:15 – 21:15, 18:15 – 00:45
Must be routinely available to work times listed above.
Applicants should be over 18 years of age, have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Maths and English e.g. GCSE grades A-C and will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check and participate in induction training prior to shift allocation. Please note that no accommodation is provided with this role.
