Hours: 36 per week
The Role:
Croydon High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Technician to join its thriving Physical Education Department on a fixed-term basis.
As a Sports Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department. This includes providing both technical and administrative assistance, supporting PE lessons and contributing to the delivery of fixtures and co-curricular activities. The role also involves coordinating school sports fixtures, arranging transportation, assisting with the organisation of events and carrying out a range of general administrative duties. In addition to this, there will be opportunities to support coaching sessions and officiate matches where appropriate.
Sport plays a central role in school life, with a wide variety of clubs and training sessions taking place before and after school, during lunchtimes and occasionally at weekends. You will be expected to actively contribute to this vibrant co-curricular programme and may also have the opportunity to take part in school sports tours.
About you
This role would suit someone with a genuine passion for sport who is keen to develop their skills and gain valuable experience at one of London's leading boarding schools. Strong organisational, communication and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to provide effective administrative support.
